WWE WrestleMania 41 card updates

In the newly released edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer gave an update on where things currently stand with the WrestleMania 41 card.

Meltzer confirms that there are currently seven matches slated for each night, including a War Raiders vs. New Day match for the World Tag Team titles on night one that has yet to be publicly announced. Another tag title bout — WWE Tag Team Champions The Street Profits vs. Motor City Machine Guns — could potentially be added to either night or could take place on the SmackDown before WrestleMania.

A new opponent for Randy Orton has not been made official yet after Kevin Owens had to withdraw from the show due to needing neck surgery. Orton is still listed for the card internally.

WrestleMania is taking place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and is now just over a week away. Here is what the card currently looks like (unconfirmed if this is the match order):

Night one (Saturday, April 19) —

  • Main event: Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk (w/ Paul Heyman) vs. Seth Rollins
  • WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton defends against Charlotte Flair
  • Rey Mysterio vs. El Grande Americano (Chad Gable)
  • United States Champion LA Knight defends against Jacob Fatu
  • Jade Cargill vs. Naomi
  • World Tag Team Champions The War Raiders (Ivar & Erik) defend against New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) — likely to have a stipulation added after their most recent match ended in a DQ
  • World Heavyweight Champion Gunther defends against Jey Uso

Night two (Sunday, April 20) —

  • Main event: Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defends against John Cena
  • WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez defend against TBD (challengers will be decided in a gauntlet match on SmackDown this Friday)
  • AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul
  • Randy Orton vs. ?
  • Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre
  • Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker defends against Penta, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio in a four-way match
  • Women’s World Champion IYO SKY defends against Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match

“Peacock was listing both shows from 4 p.m. Eastern to 1 a.m. Eastern,” Meltzer wrote. “Now that includes a three-hour pre-game show which means six hours for the rest. If the post-show is one hour, that would mean a five hour show. It’s pretty clear they will be going well over four hours for the wrestling show.”
