During the WWE WrestleMania 41 Kick Off Show the news was broken that Bayley had been attacked leaving Lyra Valkyria without a partner. It is important to note that Bayley was not seriously injured in the incident but was pulled from Sunday’s card. WWE announced later in the evening that Lyra would be joined by a mystery partner for Sunday’s championship match. It could be literally anyone, let’s take a look at the 3 most likely candidates.

Roxanne Perez

Roxanne Perez is a long shot to become Valkyria’s partner. However, the duality of getting Bayley’s nemesis and fellow former NXT champion would not be lost on the WWE creative team. Perez had a phenomenal Road to WrestleMania, yet found herself on the outside looking in for the final card. Though Perez is a long shot, don’t be surprised if you see the Prodigy taking Valkyria’s side on Sunday.

Chelsea Green

The fans want Chelsea Green. Chelsea Green has made the most of her minutes recently and that fact isn’t lost on the WWE Universe. Green and Valkyria both holding the Mid Card Championships for their respective brands could lead to a match made in heaven. Chelsea Green may be portrayed as a heel to the fans but they have chosen to love her. I would love this move and so would the WWE Universe.

Becky Lynch

It’s gotta be Becky Lynch right? The Man has been away for so long and the fans will absolutely lose it. All reports indicated that Lynch has planned a comeback around or just after WrestleMania 41. Why not just bring her back Sunday and give the fans what they have been craving? To look at possible stories for the Man to insert herself into is hard at the moment. The women’s division is simply on fire at the moment.

Inserting her into this match opens the storyline between herself and Valkyria for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship down the road. With both women being proud Irish born athletes, expect to heard the crowd erupt for Lynch being announced on Sunday.

Enjoy the Surprise

Whoever walks out to join Valkyria Sunday, just enjoy the surprise. Whether we all sing the Man’s song or get to see Chelsea Green on a WrestleMania stage finally. We all patiently await to see what’s next for Bayley but hopefully she will be back on our screens soon.
