Unfortunately, the concern of a potential injury to Asuka turned out to be true.

Injury

Asuka missed WWE's house shows over the weekend, leading to concern among fans after seeing her limp during the closing moments of SmackDown as she had been teaming Damage CTRL's IYO SKY and Kairi Sane in losses to Bianca Belair, Naomi, and Zelina Vega at WWE house shows with her last match happening on March 10.

Coming out of Friday’s SmackDown, there was a concern Asuka may have been dealing with an injury as Asuka seemed to have a leg injury in the main event segment where Damage CTRL beatdown Bayley. Check out the footage of Asuka limping here.

Status

Pwinsider reports Asuka is sidelined with a knee injury from the segment, causing her to be pulled from the house show loop out of caution.

The WWE star is getting medical tests done to further confirm the exact nature of the injury and whether it’s something Asuka can work through.

We wish her a speedy recovery.
