Damian Priest is aiming to win the love of a wrestling legend – not as his opponent. The existing WWE star has just disclosed that he would even prefer to have Paul Heyman as his manager. On the Kairouz Bros Podcast, Priest acknowledged that the reputation of Heyman as a schemer and betrayer does not frighten him; quite the contrary, it makes him excited.

Damian Priest explained that he is optimistic that his career will be brought to even higher levels by working with Heyman. He claims that Paul Heyman can build a career as he pleases, and being on the same side as him will be a chance that nobody will turn down.

Potential Partnership: Risk and Reward

The career of the manager, Paul Heyman, is legendary. He has led the best talents, such as Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns, who have all turned into world champions during his time of leadership. At the moment, he manages The Vision with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, but still demonstrates that he can make a disorder out of the rules. Priest is not just an admirer of fandom, but of a strategic ambition.

An Ideal fit in the Heyman Way

Several WWE celebrities, such as Sami Zayn and The Street Profits, have already noted that they would want to become Paul Heyman Guys. However, nobody may fulfill such a role more than Damian Priest does. His sinister, self-assured attitude, morality of a grey scale, and ambition to be in power perfectly suit the style of telling stories as practiced by Heyman. The two could also make one of the most powerful and threatening WWE teams.

Damian Priest has recently suffered through a vicious Last Man Standing contest with Aleister Black on SmackDown, which saw him have to suffer chaos as a result of interference and a blazing assault. It is the type of moment in which Paul Heyman typically gets an opportunity, and with Damian Priest, perhaps the beginning of something far greater.
