Amir Tyson, son of Mike Tyson, has signed a multi-fight deal with Misfits Boxing and is preparing for his professional debut at 29, with no opponent yet announced.
Amir said he plans to string together a few wins before targeting Misfits heavyweight champion Chase DeMoor, calling him out at the Miami announcement event in an exchange that required security to step in and separate the two.
Amir has no prior fighting experience, having worked as a combat sports commentator and entrepreneur. Mike Tyson has reportedly discouraged his son from pursuing boxing in the past, citing the physical and mental toll of the sport.
