Serhii Bohachuk secured a wide unanimous decision win over Mykal Fox in their junior middleweight clash.
Fox started the fight by using his 81-inch reach to box on the outside. Fox used his jab, as he tried to stay out of harms way. Bohachuk came on the inside, landing to the body to end the first. Fox continued with his strategy which served him well until the middle rounds. He was not hurting Bohachuk, but doing enough to steal some rounds.
Bohachuk started to cut the ring off in the sixth, pushing Fox backwards. Bohachuk landed his right hand over the top and hooks to the body in rounds seven and eight, as Fox slowed down. While Fox made it to the final bell, he showed nothing in the final round, as he was happy to go the distance. Bohachuk took the win on the scorecards: 97-93, 97-93, and 98-92.
