From that point forward, blood was constantly in Tszyu’s face. The challenger Fundora was able to take advantage and was able to use his massive reach to be able to outpoint the champion to take his belts. Boxing fans were already anticipating a rematch.

The rematch will be taking place on July 19th in Las Vegas. Tszyu was able to exercise his rematch clause and now the two will run it back one more time. The rematch will take place on Manny Pacquiao vs Mario Rios card but this fight could definitely steal the show for boxing fans.

Exercises his rematch clause

Tim Tszyu will get a chance to reclaim his super welterweight world title in a rematch with Sebastian Fundora in Las Vegas. The boxing gods aligned for Tszyu when Fundora has withdrawn from the scheduled purse bid for his mandatory WBO title defense against Xander Zayas.

Tszyu is looking for redemption as he’s lost two out of the last three fights which were all upsets losses. A win against Fundora will snatch some of that momentum back that he’s lost over the last year. The winner of this fight will be the face of the division and will have a lot of lucrative options at 154. But Another loss for Tszyu would be devasting for him and he’ll be back on the outside looking in again, he has to capitalize. Boxing fans will be in for a treat as this could be another memorable rematch.
