It’s been over a year-and-a-half since Brock Lesnar stepped into a WWE ring and even longer (almost nine years) since he fought inside a UFC Octagon.

But one boxing wants to make a comeback, and he wants the 47-year-old Lesnar to get into the ring with him despite having no background as an amateur or professional boxer.

Eric Esch, more commonly known as Butterbean, last fought June 29, 2013 — a second-round TKO loss to Kirk Lawton in Australia — but he wants one more big fight before officially calling it a career.

During a recent interview with IFL TV, Esch stated he’s coming back and that Lesnar is at the top of his hit list.

“I'm going to [fight] one more time,” Esch said. “I would love to fight Brock Lesnar in a boxing match. He runs his mouth, he's a big guy, it would be a great fight and something that people would want to see.

“It's going to be a real fight, not this grab the money and run thing. I don't want an exhibition, I want a real fight. I just had a deal with the owner of energy drink company Lucky Energy, which are going to help make it happen.”

Lesnar is one of the more decorated fighters in combat sports.

He won gold at the 2000 NCAA Division I wrestling championships and silver at the 1999 championships — both in the 285-pound division.

But Lesnar achieved his fame in the UFC, winning the heavyweight championship from Hall of Famer Randy Couture in just fourth-ever MMA fight, his third in the UFC.

He boasted wins over three former UFC champions — Couture, Frank Mir and Shane Carwin — and he fought in four title fights before retiring in 2016 with a 5-3-1 record following a unanimous decision win over Mark Hunt, which was overturned and changed to a no contest after Lesnar tested positive for banned substance clomiphene.

Esch is one of the more decorated boxers in the sport’s history. He racked up a 77-10-4 record over his 19-year career, winning the IBA and NABC super heavyweight championships.
