Undefeated WBO welterweight champion Brian Norman Jr. isn’t shy about what he brings to the table and he’s eyeing Devin Haney (32-0, 16 KOs) as the perfect opponent to prove it. Norman Jr. is certain that Devin Haney will not make it to the end of the fight. He predicts a knockout in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
In a recent interview with Fight Hub TV, Norman Jr. showed respect for Haney’s skillset, while making it clear that he’s ready to test the chin and composure of the former undisputed lightweight king.
But respect didn’t stop Norman from sending a warning. Known for his raw power and aggressive style, he emphasized what he believes separates him from the pack.
“I got bricks for hands. The first punch I landed on Jin Sasaki, he dropped. I’m out hurting folks. I got rocks in these gloves. For some reason, whatever I punch, I break.”
"Something that people misconstrue about me is they think I'm just a puncher."

Norman (28-0, 22 KOs) sees Haney known for his jab, footwork, and ring IQ not as a threat to avoid, but as the ideal showcase for his complete toolbox.
“I feel like I’ve got the perfect opponent in front of me. He’s got great feet, a great jab, and great movement. Plus, the IQ that he has is amazing. This is the perfect fight for me to showcase that I am a true, complete fighter. I can counter-punch, I can brawl, I can get active with it. I can box as well.”
A bout between Norman Jr. and Haney would pit technical brilliance vs. explosive power, with Norman bringing a style that has given pure boxers problems in the past. With both men undefeated and still ascending, this could shape up as a defining fight in the next wave of the welterweight division.
