Britain’s Nick Ball seems set to put his undefeated record on the line again after defeating TJ Doheny last time out. Nick Ball of Liverpool, England, has a record of 22-0-1 after a stoppage win over Naoya Inoue‘s former foe, TJ Doheny. The win came three fights after Ball’s closest fight, a draw against Rey Vargas, which many believe Ball should’ve won. With talks of his next fight mentioning one fearsome fighter, Ball may have bitten off more than he can chew with this one. Luis Nery holds a record of 36-2, having lost only to Brandon Figueroa in 2021 and Naoya Inoue in 2024. Nery faced ‘The Monster’ in his home country of Japan, and shocked onlookers when he did the unthinkable and sent the hometown hero to the canvas in the very first round. Inoue, who had never been dropped before, was forced to regain his composure and fight on after the scare. The Japanese fighter soon took the fight to Nery, and, after five rounds of pressure and domination, Inoue stopped Nery in the sixth. According to NoSmokeBoxing
