Caleb Plant, ranked 4th by the ring and 11th by the WBO, will defend his interim WBA super middleweight title for the first time.

It will be a twelve-round matchup against power puncher Armando Resendiz on 31st May 2025. The former IBF super middleweight world champion Caleb, 23- 2- 0-14 KOS and 26 years old Armando 15-2-0-11 KOS will contest at Michelab Ultra Arena, Las Vegas, United States.

Plant started boxing at age 9 and made his professional debut on May 10, 2014, and ever since, he has gone against the storm with wins. Sadly, losing his daughter Alia in January 2015 from a respiratory infection, he also faced another storm of losing his mother Beth in March 2019. His mother was shot by an officer in a confrontation and later succumbed in the hospital.

From May 2014 against Travis Davidson to January 30, 2021, against Caleb Truax, Plant just recorded wins. It only took him 47 seconds in the first round to send Davidson to the canvas with no return. He first earned the IBF super middleweight title on January 13, 2019, by unanimous decision from Jose Uzcategui, a Venezuelan professional boxer. The first defence of the plant IBF title was in the same year on July 19th.

He won via a technical knockout on the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Paradise, Nevada, US against Mike Lee, a professional boxer from America. After that, Caleb continued to carry his title in 2020 against Vincent Feigenbutz, a German professional boxer, via a technical knockout, and on January 30, 2021, against Caleb Truax, an American professional, via a unanimous decision.

Now, Caleb Plant faces a new challenge. With resilience and skill, he looks to add another victory to his legacy, proving once more why he's a force in boxing.
