If the fight is made, it would undoubtedly attract many eyes, as did his fight against “Iron Mike.” It would captivate a diverse audience and could potentially generate more viewers than Tyson-Paul. Rafael confirms via sources that both sides are in the early stages of discussing a fight for this spring, likely in Las Vegas for Cinco de Mayo weekend on May 3.

Alvarez previously declined to defend his titles against Scull, which allowed the Cuban-born fighter to defeat Vladimir Shishkin and win the vacant IBF title. A potential clash with Scull could pave the way for Alvarez to become undisputed again, setting the stage for a highly anticipated mega-fight against Terence Crawford in September.
