Chris Eubank Jr. (35-4) has announced he is a free agent, posting on X to confirm he has severed ties with BOXXER and entered the open market. "No ties, No promoter, & No limits."
The timing follows his defeat to Conor Benn at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on November 15, 2025. Benn dominated from start to finish, scoring two knockdowns in the final round to seal a shutout unanimous decision — 119-107, 116-110, and 118-108.
The result has raised questions about where, physically, he currently stands. He was hospitalised following the bout, a development that sharpened scrutiny around his long-term future at the top level. He had beaten Benn in their first fight and entered the rematch with significant momentum.
With no promoter attached, Eubank Jr. is now in a position to negotiate on his own terms. Zuffa Boxing remains the most obvious landing spot given its commercial infrastructure and willingness to pay established names. Edgar Berlanga, who recently signed with Zuffa, has already named Eubank Jr. as a target. A third Benn fight under the Zuffa banner also remains a possibility should the commercial appetite exist.
