Kieron Conway and Gerome Warbuton will square off for the vacant British middleweight title this weekend. One boxer is keen to seize a late chance to fulfill a longtime dream, while the other is fighting to maintain his own aspiration.

Conway's experience the maintains of a high level of confidence prior to his match on the undercard of Johnny Fisher vs. Dave us provides him with a considerable edge over Warburton, as Allen 2.

However, Conway( 22-3-1 6 KOs), will have the chance to settle his outstanding issues this Saturday when he fights Jerome Warburton for the unclaimed British title at the Copper Box Arena in London on May 17, 2025. Currently the British middleweight boxing title is unoccupied.

Conway and Warburton both weighed in comfortably under the middleweight limit for their bout for the vacant British title. The Northampton man Conway weighed in at 159.7 lbs, whereas ‘The Bread Maker’ Warburton was at 158.8 lbs.

If he passes through Warburton, Conway will probably encounter George Liddard, who is set to compete in a British title eliminator on the same card this weekend.

Conway would remain in the running for significant opportunities if he were to defeat Warburton. While a loss might not conclude his career, it would almost certainly eliminate his chances of appearing on the biggest nights in the sport.

Back in 2019, he was on the verge of securing the British super welterweight title, as his match against then-champion Ted Cheeseman at York Hall in Bethnal Green ended in a draw.
