Terence Crawford has strong opinions about who belongs in the P4P greatest of all-time list.
Crawford is also addressing some controversy surrounding his alleged PED use.
Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao will enter the boxing Hall of Fame after an outstanding boxing career that ranks just as high as the best of them.
Pacquiao won titles in eight weight classes, adding up to 12 championship belts, making him one of the most prolific fighters ever. Manny started his boxing career in the flyweight class, and he was able to fight his way through the weight classes all the way up to the junior middleweight class.
Pacquiao made a name for himself with knockouts against Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto.
Of course, no top-notch fighter worth his weight is without controversy. That came to the forefront, especially when it came to his rivalry against Floyd Mayweather.
The battle between Pacquiao and Mayweather did not happen for years with Mayweather alleging that Pacquiao did not agree to random blood test. Pacquiao eventually agreed under certain stipulations. He finally faced off against Mayweather in 2015.
Crawford has different view of the matter. He says that he thinks Pacquiao looked ordinary after the blood testing. This notion furthered fueled the speculation the Pacquiao could have possibly been on some sort of substance. It is worth noting that Pacquiao has never failed a PED test. Crawford still has his reservations.
“Manny is a generational talented fighter. He’s accomplished what no other fighter is ever going to accomplish again, but I don’t feel like he did it on his own. That’s me personally for the simple fact when Floyd made it a point for him to do the blood test, he didn’t want to do the blood test, but then when he did do the blood test, he haven’t got a knockout since,” Crawford said.
Whether the allegations are true or not, boxing fans will have plenty to say about the accusations.
