Oleksandr Usyk’s unanimous decision victory over Tyson Fury on Saturday wasn’t the only drama in Riyadh with quite the scene popping up right after he emerged as the night's winner.
Moments after Usyk retained his WBA, WBC, and WBO heavyweight titles by beating Fury for the second time in as many fights, IBF champion Daniel Dubois stormed the ring, demanding a rematch with the Ukrainian superstar.
“Usyk, I want my revenge,” Dubois told his foe. ”Well done tonight, well played. But I want my revenge for the robbery last time.
”Let’s get it. Let’s go! Where is [Dubois fight promoter] Frank [Warren]? Make it happen!”

Usyk, who defeated Dubois via ninth-round knockout in August 2023, didn’t back down and accepted the challenge quickly and with no issues.
“No problem, I’m ready,” Usyk said. ”Next fight, no problem.”
Dubois’ initial bout with Usyk was shrouded in controversy, as the loser himself remainded the Ukranian in the ring.

In the fifth round of their 2023 clash, Dubois landed what referee Luis Pabon deemed a low blow, giving Usyk five minutes to recover.
Dubois has since maintained that the strike was legal and accused officials of costing him the fight. Despite his appeal, the WBA upheld the decision.
Since that loss, Dubois bounced back and went on to win three fights culminating in a victory over Anthony Joshua to claim the IBF title, the one Usyk was forced to vacate after his first victory over Fury when he became a four-title (IBF, IBO, WBO, and WBC) champion.
Before facing Usyk, Dubois is slated to defend his belt against former WBO champion Joseph Parker in February, although his sights are clearly set on a unification bout with Usyk.
With Usyk’s record now at a flawless 23-0, a potential rematch with Dubois looms large. If Dubois successfully defends his IBF title against Parker, a unification showdown for all the heavyweight belts could become one of 2025’s most anticipated fights.
