The Briton Daniel Dubois is the present IBF titlist and is a man full of confidence.
Despite having a rocky start to his boxing career, which included an upset defeat to Joe Joyce that left many tongues wagging about his resolve in the boxing ring, 'DDD' has managed to turn it around.
The British professional boxer has a well-decorated career. He has held the International Boxing Federation (IBF) heavyweight title since 2024.
The Londoner picked up the IBF interim strap by technically stopping Filip Hrgovic, and obtained the sanctioning body's proper belt after he thrashed Anthony Joshua last September. He defended his title against Joshua with a fifth-round knockout, and though he was booked to defend it again against Joseph Parker in February, he had to back off due to illness.
Elsewhere, former champion Tony Bellew believes DDD has the deadliest right hook in the boxing arena.
"Daniel Dubois is up there. His right hand is an extremely dangerous shot. He's very powerful. Naoya Inoue is another one. But for the one shot, Daniel Dubois' right hand is probably the most deadly right hand in boxing. It is devastating. But he's got to believe in himself more, in my opinion. I do think he's massively improved. I think he came of age against AJ,” said Tony Bellew during a sit-down with the CardPlayer.
Meanwhile, 'Triple D' is now warming up to face Usyk in a four-belt shootout with the opportunity to create history.
To mark two months until the duo's blockbuster showdown at Wembley, Ukrainian Usyk dropped a video on his social media handle of him dancing at his gym.
Hysterically, the 38-year-old was dancing his moves in front of a TV, which was airing his first bout with Dubois.
