Dave Allen destroyed an ex-heavyweight world champion with a crushing body shot.
On Saturday night, ‘The White Rhino’ will return to action against Johnny Fisher in an eagerly anticipated rematch after most fans thought he should have received the decision in the first fight.
However, while a win this weekend would be massive for Allen, it wouldn’t be the biggest victory of his career.
That came when he knocked out a man who’d previously held the WBA title.

On April 20, 2019, Dave Allen went to war with Lucas Browne inside the O2 Arena in London, UK.
Going into the contest, ‘The Doncaster De La Hoya’ was considered a major underdog. While his Australian foe had been rendered unconscious by Dillian Whyte a year prior, he wasn’t too far removed from his epic win over Ruslan Chagaev.
Browne controlled the early portion of the bout, utilizing his thudding jab to dominate the first two rounds.
By the third segment, ‘Big Daddy’ was in complete control and growing in confidence. Attempting to land a massive shot, the heavy hitter launched a right hand that could’ve rendered Allen unconscious had it connected.
However, showcasing boxing IQ in abundance, Allen ducked under the shot and threw a perfect left hook to the body.
Browne crumbled to the canvas, and couldn’t beat the count, giving the Englishman the win of his life.
Despite losing the fight to Allen, Browne took a lot of positives from the contest, and quickly bounced back with a win over John Hopoate.
He followed this up by taking on a rugby icon in a massive contest in Australia.
Going into the match-up, the former heavyweight king was considered a massive favorite.
However, in a shocking result, Browne lost to the rugby star inside the very first round.
