On Wednesday, May 28, at the Yokahama BUNTAI, Eduardo Nunez vs Masanori Rikiishi will headline a Matchroom Boxing card in association with Bxstrs Promotions and Teiken Promotions. The main event will be for the vacant IBF super featherweight title, which was vacated by Anthony Cacace. The full card will be broadcast live on DAZN for UK viewers, while fans in the US can watch via ESPN+.
The co-main event will see the unbeaten Yoshiki Takei (10-0, 8 KOs) face Yuttapong Tongdee (15-0, 9 KOs) for Takei’s WBO bantamweight title.
Nunez was last seen in action, stopping the durable Miguel Marriaga in the sixth round of their clash on August 31, 2024. Rikiishi fought twice in 2024, defeating Michael Magnesi and Arnel Baconaje.
