Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 – Betting Tips and Preview
Sarah Stier-Imagn Images

Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 goes down this Saturday night and after a blockbuster slobber-knocker in their first bout, expect a similar firefight in the rematch. Simply put, Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn do not like each other. They never will. After their first fight, there is a lot of respect between the two men, competitively; however, will the two men ever be friends? Not a chance. The rivalry has deep roots after their fathers’ rivalry in the 1990s.

Their first fight was an instant classic, going the full 12 rounds. On that historic night in April, Chris Eubank Jr got his hand raised with scorecards of 116–112, 116–112 and 116–112. With that being said, the smaller man, Benn, showed his power, reportedly breaking the jaw of his opponent and sending him to the hospital due to his injuries. Eubank Jr claims that this was due to dehydration, however, as he had a well-documented huge weight cut to make the 156 1/2 lbs limit. As we reported, he infamously missed weight, costing him a huge fine. The two men will meet at the same weight again this time around but don’t expect any similar theatrics this time around.

The rematch marks the first time that Benn has to come back from a loss in his career but as the younger, arguably hungrier man, expect The Destroyer to be highly motivated. Eubank’s power didn’t seem to affect Benn too heavily in the first fight, however, it still only takes one from the bigger man to hurt the smaller.

Hailed as ‘Unfinished Business’, Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 is guaranteed to provide fireworks. After being delayed, both men will be chomping at the bit to get their hands on their opponent!

It isn’t just the main event that has grabbed headlines, with a stacked undercard, Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 isn’t one to be missed.

Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 – Betting Tips

Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 – Picks to Watch

Chris Eubank Jr via Decision +220
Rinse and repeat from the first bout? At +220, there could be money to be made.

Conor Benn via KO/TKO/DQ +280
Conor Benn holds legitimate knockout power. Has father time caught up with the 36 year old Eubank? Will back to back big weight cuts have taken something away from his chin? Is Benn now used to fighting with a bigger frame? A knockout for the younger man could be a good call.

Either fighter to win via DQ +10000
They wouldn’t… would they?

Undercard Picks to Watch

Richard Riakporhe via Knockout
At -1800 to win the fight, the heavy, heavy favourite, Richard Riakporhe is expected to win this one to say the least. With 14 knockouts across 18 wins, the Brit is expected to get this one done. Despite being 16-0, Tommy Welch has rarely featured on anything other than small hall shows throughout his career. As of yet, there are no odds on this line, but if you can find them, back it.

Ekow Essuman vs Jack Catterall to go the distance -550
Although the odds for this one to go the distance aren’t amazing, it’s almost sure to happen. Ekow Essuman put a pace on Josh Taylor in his last fight, picking up the biggest win of his career and getting him the Jack Catterall fight. Catterall rebounded last time out and won the fight against Harlem Eubank as a result of a cut. Essuman has only finished eight fights across his 22 wins and Catterall hasn’t finished a fight since 2019.

Essuman to win via TKO/KO or DQ is +700 and despite not being a notorious finisher, Catterall did suffer a huge cut last time out. If Essuman can open that cut up again, there’s a chance he can win it on a technicality.

Adam Aziz vs Kurt Scoby – Fight doesn’t go to decision -180
A phenomenal fight go down on the undercard of Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 when Adam Azim takes on Kurt Scoby. Don’t expect the judges to be needed in this one, this one gets over and done with within the distance.

Adam Azim has finished 10 of his 13 fights, finishing his last four straight. Likewise, Scoby has finished 16 of his 18 opponents, finishing his last 13 wins. 30 minutes won’t be needed for this one. It won’t go the distance!
