Jake Paul is making moves with the news that Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) have signed Savannah Marshall and Chantelle Cameron.
It is a major coup for the promotion, which is now the leading promoter for women’s boxing. MVP have some of the biggest names under their roster, such as Amanda Serrano and Alycia Baumgardner. Now, Marshall and Cameron have joined the fold. Marshall’s last boxing bout was a victory over Franchon Crews Dezurn to become the Undisputed Super Middleweight Champion. The bout took place in 2023, after which Marshall signed a deal with the PFL. She faced off against Mirela Vargas, stopping her in a debut victory.
Meanwhile, Cameron is the former Undisputed Junior Welterweight Champion. She lost her belts to Katie Taylor, who became undisputed in two weight classes. Since that loss, she has bounced back strongly by securing wins against Elhem Mekhaled and Patricia Berghult. Cameron had left Matchroom after the Taylor loss, after which she worked with Queensbury Promotions. Cameron and Marshall are now ready for their new venture.
“I’m delighted to say I’m now part of MVP – who, more than any other promoter, recognise the value that women bring to this sport. Through Jake and Nakisa, they also have a very unique, refreshing approach to the fight game. They think out of the box. They’re different. And boxing overall benefits from such trailblazers. It’s an exciting time to join their team alongside so many other accomplished female fighters. As a two-weight world champion and previously achieving Undisputed, it only feels natural to be here, and I cannot wait to begin fighting under their banner,” Marshall
“I’m very excited about this move. MVP has been nothing but encouraging in talks regarding myself and female boxing. This is a fantastic opportunity for the next stage of my career and an unbelievable platform to showcase my boxing ability. I’d like to thank Nakisa Bidarian, Jake Paul, and the whole MVP team for making this whole transition very easy for me,” Cameron
“Savannah Marshall and Chantelle Cameron are world-class athletes who represent the best of women’s boxing and the proud tradition of UK champions. Now, alongside Ellie Scotney, MVP represents the most dominant roster of UK women’s athletes in boxing. Like Amanda Serrano and Alycia Baumgardner, Savannah and Chantelle have reached the pinnacle of the sport by becoming undisputed champions—giving them the experience, perspective, and platform to lead the next generation. We look forward to announcing their MVP debuts in the coming weeks,” Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian (MVP Co-founders)
