With a contest against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. around the corner, YouTuber turned boxer and promoter Jake Paul has hinted that he could face a current boxing champion.

Jake Paul has not been shy about expressing his intentions of facing a world champion and becoming a title holder himself. Paul will be facing Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in a thrilling encounter that has left boxing fans eager and quite excited, set to take place on June 28th in Anaheim, California.

Paul has great belief in himself and thinks that a fight against Chavez Jr. will be a big step up in his chances in the competition and would open the door for a challenge at title challenge.

During a press conference promoting this fight, Paul had this to say:

“This fight has been brewing for quite some time now. The fans have wanted to see this, and I want to continue to elevate and raise the level of my opponents. This is a former world champion, and he has an amazing resume following in his dad’s footsteps. This guy is a great fighter, and I want to test myself against the best in the world,” said Paul.

He went ahead to reveal that his camp has already reached out to Badou Jack (current cruiserweight champion) for a potential fight.

“I am super interested. I had Nakisa contact his team behind the scenes, so those discussions are happening,” said Paul.

Jack has been open to facing Paul as he claims it is going to be an easy fight, and it is also going to add some money to his bank account. So why not!’

All this might be possible for Jake Paul, but he must finish his business on June 28th against Chavez Jr. first to get a chance to negotiate a title shot.
