Jake Paul (11-1, 7 KOs) has his eyes set on a star-studded matchup after his upcoming showdown with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (54-6-1, 34 KOs).
The duo is set to face each other in a 10-round cruiserweight bout in Anaheim, CA, on June 28. With the fight night inching in, Paul also has a plan of action in place for his future fights, and lets just say it has the potential to become a heavy-hitting affair.
In a conversation with Most Valuable Promotions, Paul opened up about targeting bigger fights in the future and even gave a list of opponents that he wished to face.
“After Chavez, I think Gervonta Davis, Anthony Joshua, KSI, Tommy Fury, Ryan Garcia, Badou Jack. It’s a pretty hefty list,” he said.
While it comes as no surprise that Paul would pick a diverse set of opponents, the actuality of some of these fights happening is a steep maybe.
Fighting at around 200 pounds for the Chavez fight, Paul is closer in weight to fighters like Fury and Joshua. However, it will be rather intriguing to see how he looks or fights closer in weight to the likes of Davis and Garcia. ‘KingRy,’ however, has revealed that he would be willing to jump to 185 pounds to fight Paul.
Meanwhile, Paul is looking forward to avenging his loss against Fury, that is, if Fury can agree to a deal.
“I definitely think that will happen at some point. Tommy just has to be realistic about what he’s worth and taking the amazing deal that we had,” he said. “I can fight any big-name opponents; all Tommy has is me. But I do wanna make the rematch happen, and I definitely know that I’m going to destroy and knock him out.”
Keyshawn Davis, who has been long eyeing a ‘Tank’ Davis fight, is siding with Paul’s decision to pick him as an opponent. Talking to Sean Zittel, he even urged that it would be a good fight for the sport of boxing.
“I talk a lot of sh*t about a lot of people…after the Floyd era, Tank carried that torch and made sure boxing was lit for fighters like me. People are scared to admit that and I’m not.”

“I think that him going to fight Jake Paul is amazing. I think he should go do that. I think that’s gonna be great for the sport of boxing. It’s gonna get more eyes on the sport of boxing. You got the YouTuber eyes, the casual eyes. ‘Tank’ got a lot of casuals,” he said.
