John Fury, KSI involved in brawl at Logan Paul-Dillon Danis press conference

It’s no secret that YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul and MMA fighter Dillon Danis don’t like each other.

And after a brawl broke out during a press conference on Tuesday at Wembley Arena in London to promote their upcoming fight on DAZN’s The Prime Card, many would have expected it to be Paul or Danis who lost their cool.

Instead, John Fury, the father and trainer of pro boxer Tommy Fury, was the one who made a scene, punching, kicking and flipping tables before getting in the face of KSI, his son’s opponent in the card’s main event.

“Don’t start with me now talking all this [expletive] about people’s personal [business],” Fury shouted before erupting in a fit of rage. “We’re fighting men. My son will fight [KSI] now, and I’ll fight anyone in the building. … I’m a machine; me. Can anybody question who I am here?”

Security guards quickly separated KSI from the Furys, while Paul and Danis kept their distance on opposite sides of the stage.

“We knew it was explosive,” promoter Kalle Sauerland said after the situation was diffused. “We didn’t know it would come from John Fury in the end, but that’s one way to end a press conference.”

While Fury’s outburst stole the show, Paul and Danis had a few memorable exchanges beforehand. Paul poked fun at Danis getting choked out by a bouncer at a club in 2021, turning a photo of the incident into a poster, and he had a birthday cake made for the Bellator fighter that depicted him with a black eye after getting knocked out by Paul in their fight on Oct. 14.

Paul is 0-1 as a professional boxer with his lone loss coming to KSI in November 2019. He also fought pound-for-pound boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. in June 2021 in an exhibition bout.

Danis, on the other hand, has no professional boxing experience but he is 2-0 as a Bellator fighter. Both of his wins come via submission and he hasn’t fought since June 2019.
