Keyshawn Davis Declares Superiority Over Gustavo Lemos, Targets 135 Title in 2025

On Friday, November 8, lightweight contender and Olympic 2020 silver medallist Keyshawn Davis (11-0, 7 KOs) returns to action to face tough Argentine Gustavo Lemos (29-1, 19 KOs) at the Scope Arena, Norfolk, on a Top Rank Promotions card on ESPN+. Ahead of his homecoming fight, Davis has spoken exclusively to Dan Rafael about fighting in his home town, his upcoming fight against Lemos and where he believes he stands in the 135lbs division.

Davis Discusses Dominance Over Gustavo Lemos

When talking to Rafael, Davis was asked about his Argentine opponent and said: “Everything I do better than him. I don’t want to sound cocky or nothing like that but I know boxing and I know myself.”

He continued: “I always give my predictions before the fight, and 9 times out of ten I was right.”

“The Businessman” then spoke about the ability of Lemos: “Just with Gustavo, anything he does I do better than him. If he wants to fight on the inside, he doesn’t have a better inside game than me. Do you think he punches hard, I punch hard too. Let’s see if he can take my punches. Let’s see how fast you are. Let’s see how good your jab is. Let’s see how you set your punches up. Let’s see how good your angles are. Everything he does, I do better than him.”
