The scheduled super fight between Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis seems to get more controversial by the week.
Not too long ago, it was announced that Jake Paul‘s next boxing outing will take place against WBA lightweight champion, Gervonta Davis.
‘The Problem Child’ is on a six fight win streak with his latest win having come against former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, and it was arguably Paul’s best performance yet.
Despite that, his upcoming fight against ‘Tank’ on November 14 is viewed as highly controversial because of the staggering weight difference between the two.
Not long after the fight was announced, it seemed to be in jeopardy of being canceled after the Georgia State Athletic and Entertainment Commission announced that Most Valuable Promotions withdrew their request to host the event at the State Farm Arena in Georgia.
However, the event was then moved and it will now take place at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, and will continue to stream live and exclusively on Netflix.
Despite that, with there being a huge weight difference between the two and that being one of the main talking points ahead of the clash, it has been ruled as an exhibition bout, but there will still be a winner announced.
Not only that, but the fighters will wear 12oz gloves, and Paul has a maximum weight limit of 195lbs, with a huge weight discrepancy expected.
And just under a month out from the controversial clash, new details have emerged regarding a ‘large knockout bonus’ being added to the bout.

Jake Paul vs Gervonta Davis on November 14th now has a large knockout bonus on offer for both fighters!
“If someone knocks the other one out, they’re gonna get a big, big bonus,” Paul said on the DOUBL3 COVERAGE PODCAST.
Despite ‘The Problem Child’ having announced that there will be a ‘large’ knockout bonus, the 28-year-old hesitated to reveal the exact figure of the bonus.
In his short tenure in professional boxing, Paul has become one of the biggest stars, and in his last few fights has made a significant amount of money, putting him ahead of a lot of boxing stars.
