Lennox Lewis is widely considered to be one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.

While Lewis has two knockout losses on his record, through his 41 pro wins, he got his revenge over both the men who were able to beat him inside the ring.

During his incredible career, the towering former Olympic gold medalist faced several icons of the heavyweight division.

Lewis’ fight with Mike Tyson remains one of the highest grossing boxing matches of all time, but this wasn’t his only signature clash.

That doesn’t mean that he chose to use his own resume as the selection process for his five greatest boxers of all time.

Lennox Lewis names icons from different eras as his top five boxers of all time

While he ranks highly on the list, it’s hard to consider Lennox Lewis the greatest heavyweight of all time.

The incredible legacy of Muhammad Ali makes his nickname of ‘The Greatest’ much more than just one of the various ways people refer to him.

In a recent video posted by HardRockBet on Instagram, Lewis unsurprisingly featured Ali as the first entry in his personal list of the top five boxers of all time.

Cassius Clay was joined by four other icons of the sport who were all era-defining fighters during their time at the pinnacle.

Despite facing the likes of Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield inside the ring, Lewis didn’t include anyone that he competed against, though he did say that he’d put himself in the same room as these fighters.

The four fighters listed after Ali were:

Lennox Lewis was recently beaten to the title of Britain’s greatest ever boxer

Last month, the British Boxing Hall of Fame had boxing historians and writers vote to crown one fighter as the greatest boxer that Britain has ever produced.

Lennox Lewis would have certainly been in consideration for this, with many likely to have him as the runner-up if not the number one.

However, the poll awarded this title to the former two-weight world champion, Joe Calzaghe.

‘The Pride of Wales’ went undefeated in 46 pro fights from 1993 to 2008, beating the likes of Mikkel Kessler, Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr.
