Mike Tyson has announced his Mike Tyson Invitational, a three-day amateur showcase set for March 12–14, 2026, at the Radiant Brand Complex in Las Vegas.

The event is an effort by Tyson to revitalize the American amateur scene. The invitation is designed to give elite amateurs and Olympic hopefuls the professional-level visibility often missing from the grassroots circuit. Tyson, himself, won two Junior Olympic golds and a 1984 National Golden Gloves title. By moving away from the standard tournament structure, the Mike Tyson Invitational introduces a rewards system.

  • Honors: Instead of traditional medals, victors will be presented with custom-designed championship belts. Additionally, a single athlete will be recognized for the most impressive performance of the event with the “Fighter of the Night” award.
  • Removing Obstacles: The event is entirely free to enter, ensuring that financial status does not prevent elite talent from participating.
  • Professional Launchpad: This exposure provides them with high-quality footage and the documentation needed to secure sponsorships before they make the jump to the professional ranks.

The Three-Days

  • Thursday, March 12: Mike Tyson will lead an exclusive session detailing the “obsessive preparation” and psychological tactics he mastered.
  • Friday, March 13: Tyson will transition to the gym floor to personally oversee open workouts.
  • Saturday, March 14: The invitational concludes with a full card of high-stakes amateur bouts.

“I’m deeply passionate about doing my part to reinvigorate amateur boxing in the United States. Amateur boxing isn’t just a pathway to the professional ranks, it’s a foundation for discipline, character, and becoming the best version of yourself. This sport gave me so much, and it’s important to me that amateur boxing continues to be recognized, supported, and preserved as part of our country’s legacy,” Mike Tyson said

“It’s an honor to have been chosen to bring all the business development surrounding the Mike Tyson Invitational. Our mission is to make a positive, long-lasting impact on amateur boxing to build the next generation of future champions,” Prophecy Onasis (CEO of Radiant Technologies) stated
