When asked at a press conference for May 2, how long Rolly will last in the ring with him, he said: “He’s going to come to fight. I’m not taking him lightly or anything like that. I’m still going to train my best, but everybody wants to see the rematch (with Haney), and that’s where my heart is at. So, I’ve just got to prepare well. I know I’m the better fighter, and I’m going to knock him out.”

Canelo Alvarez vs William Scull – May 3

Earlier this year, Canelo Alvarez (62-2-2, 39 KOs) agreed to a four-fight deal under the Riyadh Season banner, and his first fight will be against William Scull (23-0, 9 KOs) on Saturday, May 3. While many sports fans will be keeping an eye on the latest soccer scores that weekend, this clash will be for undisputed glory at Super Middleweight. Scull is the IBF champion, but the experience and class of Canelo should ensure he becomes the undisputed champion for the second time in his career—just weeks before the Champions League final captivates football fans globally on May 31. Recently, Canelo spoke to The Ring about his four-fight deal with Riyadh Season: “[I want] the best fights. Make the best fights out there. I don’t know yet. I’m thinking about May and William Scull. I’m focused a hundred percent on this fighter. … I’m not gonna take it easy. I’m gonna train and train hard, be focused on William Scull. I don’t wanna talk about other opponents.”

Naoya Inoue vs. Ramon Cardenas – May 4

Naoya Inoue vs. Ramon Cardenas (26-1, 14 KOs) will take place on May 4 at T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas. The punch-power of “The Monster” should prove too much for his American opponent. If Inoue (29-0, 26 KOs) wins as expected, it’s thought he will next face Murodjon “MJ” Akhmadaliev next.

Reflecting on his upcoming fight: “I am thankful to the fans in America who have followed my career,” Inoue said. “Fighting at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas is another career highlight, and I look forward to putting on a great show for everyone in attendance. Anthony Cacace vs. Leigh Wood – May 10
