Ring’s No. 6 and WBC’s No. 1 Serhii Bohachuk (25-2, 24 KOs) will be back in the ring to headline in a co-feature of 360 Promotions show on UFC Fight Pass on May 17 at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles, California.

Bohachuk ended last year in disappointment as he missed out on a few big fights with his opponents pulling out as they had other plans on their itineraries. The Ukranian is set to face Mykal Fox (24-4, 5 KOs) as Fox makes his debut at 154.

It will be a challenge for Fox as he is set to face a former WBC interim junior middleweight champion on his debut to the weight class. But Fox is ready to take his 4-inch height advantage and use it in the contest.

Fox can use his long arms to apply pressure on Bohachuk, it is an opportunity for Fox to show whether he has the punching power in this weight class as that is what he should be concerned with from his opponent.

Bohachuk, who lives and trains in Los Angeles, will be aiming to increase his chances to fight for a world title by the end of the year but this depends on the outcome of this fight. His last fight came on December 21 against Ishmael Davis, a fight he managed to win in the sixth round in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Fox bounced back to get two wins which came against Donald Ward and Yainel Alvarez after suffering three straight defeats in the hands of Luke Santamaria, Gabriel Maestre and Egidijus Kavaliauskas.

During a press conference Fox had this to say about how he plans to take on his opponent.

“He is a skilled fighter, but the plan is to walk him into some big counterpunches. If I can get him at the middle range, I can then take advantage,” said Fox.
