The promo train for Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez (63-2-2, 39 KOs) vs. Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) on September 13 streaming live and exclusively on Netflix has officially left the station.
On Wednesday afternoon, Netflix premiered the official fight night trailer for Canelo-Crawford, and the response has been well-received amongst fight fans and casual ones worldwide. Actor and Academy Award nominee Josh Brolin (Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, Deadpool 2, etc.) was hired to narrate the trailer as well as the documentary series Countdown: Canelo vs. Crawford, which debuts on September 4.
The trailer explores the contrast between Canelo and Crawford, who are from two different corners of the world, yet both share a desire to be great. Towards the end of the trailer, with a total runtime of 1:40, Brolin says, “When purpose consumes everything else, that hunger becomes fate.” It aligns with the theme of the event and will undoubtedly boost anticipation for the Countdown show on September 4, followed by Fight Night on September 13.
With the page of the calendar turning to September on Monday, Netflix is ready to turn up the volume and let the world know Canelo-Crawford is coming to a Netflix account on September 13.
