Terence Crawford vs Canelo Alvarez fight is so big that it will have a very expensive gift for the winner. But for the winner, he’ll be taking home the most expensive belt ever created. The belt was unveiled at the Terence Crawford vs Canelo Alvarez fight conference. According to Rick Reeno of Ring Magazine, it is “the most expensive belt ever created.” It cost 140,000 pounds $188,000 to create. There’s no details on why this belt is more expensive then the previous one. Clearly Turki Alalshikh is doing a great job magnifying this fight so far.
The hype just went up another level!
The custom Ring Magazine belt created for Canelo vs Crawford cost a staggering $188,491 — and Turki Alalshikh says he doesn’t want any “Tom and Jerry boxing” in return. He wants face-smashing action and blood, the kind of war that makes… pic.twitter.com/GjfojIAnG4

“For a mega-fight of this magnitude, we wanted to create an exclusive mega-belt. So, we spoke to numerous companies all over the world, and eventually settled on a top-tier company in the UK,” said Rick Reeno of Ring Magazine at today’s Riyadh press conference, talking about the new belt that will be up for grabs for the Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford fight on September 13th. MOST EXPENSIVE BOXING BELT EVER “This company often gets commissioned to create items for Kings and Queens, for jewelry, high-end metals, for the British army. For the belt that Canelo has, we spent 100,000 pounds. For this belt, we upped the ante to 140,000 pounds. This is by far the most expensive Ring belt ever created, the finest gold, the finest craftsmanship.
“Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford are the two very best fighters, and there can only be one. Only one of them is going home with this belt on September 13th.” That is an incredible amount of money for a belt. I wonder if any of the sanctioning bodies, like the WBC can create a similar one to put on the lines for their fights.
