On Friday afternoon, Subriel Matias (20-2, 20 KOs) and Roberto Ramirez (26-3-1, 19 KOs) came right at the junior welterweight limit of 140 pounds making their main event official tomorrow night on PPV.com. The event will be hosted by Fresh Productions and take place at the Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. This will mark Matias’ first fight since losing his IBF title in June against Liam Paro. His opponent, Ramirez, is ready to insert his name into title contention if he can get past Matias on Saturday night. The oddsmakers have Matias as the heavy favorite but in boxing, anything can happen as we’ve often seen.
Subriel Matias (140 lbs.) vs. Roberto Ramirez (140 lbs.)
Jeyvier Cintrón (118 lbs.) Rashib Martinez Valdez (119.2 lbs.)
Alfredo Santiago (140 lbs.) vs. Pedro Campa (140 lbs.)
Abimael Ortiz (122 lbs.) vs. Kevin Gonzalez (121 lbs.)
Luis Rodriguez (167 lbs.) vs. Marcos Vazquez (167 lbs.)
Per DraftKings SportsBook, Subriel Matias is the favorite at -4000, and Roberto Ramirez is the underdog at +1200.
These timings could change due to the length of the undercard fights.
