Watch: Clemson successfully pulls off hidden ball trick against Coastal Carolina

You better be paying attention when you are running the bases against the Clemson Tigers. Especially when third basemen Blake Wright is involved.

Wright and the Tigers successfully pulled off a hidden ball trick in the top of the second inning of Sunday's Regional Final against Coastal Carolina, picking off Dean Mihos when he wandered off third base and was unaware of where the ball was.

Have a look.

The crazy thing about that play is this is not the first time Wright has done this during his time at Clemson. He also pulled off a game-changing hidden ball trick against Florida State during the 2023 season, helping to spark an 8-1 win against the Seminoles.

Wright is not only one of Clemson's best players, he is also one of their smartest. Sometimes it is not just about being better than your opponent as much as it is simply outsmarting them.
