Although he didn't have much impact in his first season with the Tulane Green Wave, the future is bright for center Stefan Cicic.

College basketball insider Adam Zagoria revealed from his sources that the 7-foot-1 Cicic will enter the transfer portal on Wednesday.

The Riverside, Illinois, native was a three-star prospect in the 2024 class. Cicic chose Tulane over offers from Bradley, Georgia Tech and San Diego.

As a senior at Riverside Brookfield (IL), he averaged 19 points on 66.7 percent shooting, 13 rebounds and two blocks per game while leading his team to a 26-5 record. Cicic was also named Illinois Class 4A All-State in his final two high school seasons.

According to the Tulane report on his commitment last May, Cicic was twice the Metro Suburban Conference MVP and led his team to back-to-back championships.

Cicic played in only three games in limited action last season and averaging 1.3 minutes per contest. He redshirted and battled through injuries, according to reporting from Tulane insider Isaac Popper.

Tulane finished fourth in the American Athletic Conference with a 19-15 record. The Green Wave qualified for the College Basketball Crown, a 16-team tournament for teams that did not qualify for the NCAA Tournament. Tulane lost to the USC Trojans in the first round, 89-60.

The Green Wave has lost six players to the transfer portal this spring. Cicic joins Kam Williams (Kentucky), Kaleb Banks (DePaul), Mari Jordan (Radford), and Michael Eley (Hampton) in entering the portal.

Tuesday marked the final day for college basketball players to enter the portal during the spring window.
