John Calipari recruits highly talented basketball players, but he also recruits high-character young men. Entering his 15th season as the head coach of the Kentucky Basketball program, this year’s roster is no different.
During Kentucky Basketball’s La Familia Autograph tour at the end of July, freshman Aaron Bradshaw made a life-lasing impression on one Kentucky fan, Steven Hubacher.
At one of the stops, Hubacher talked to Bradshaw about how cool the team’s GLOBL JAM United States shirts are, and that he, unfortunately, had not been able to find one. Bradshaw’s reaction was to give Hubacher the shirt off of his back and sign it.
A great story about Aaron Bradshaw quite literally giving the shirt off his back to make a Kentucky fan’s day.

Bradshaw has such an outgoing personality and he will be a fan favorite.
Again, getting out of the boot next week and apparently has grown from 7’0 to 7’2. https://t.co/Byu2DQx5mY
“He (Bradshaw) told me that the fans are amazing and they mean a lot to him and he knows how much the shirt would mean to me,” Hubacher said of Bradshaw.
It was a simple gesture by Bradshaw, but one that can make a lifelong memory for a fan. As a freshman, it is impressive to see that Bradshaw understands the reach and impact he can have on others. Without playing a game, he is becoming a fan favorite.
