Penn State Nittany Lions lead guard Ace Baldwin Jr. left Wednesday’s game against the Illinois Fighting Illini with a back injury.
Baldwin was guarding Illinois guard Kylan Boswell when the former drew an offensive foul. Baldwin stayed on the floor for a moment before being helped up and trying to play through it.
He would be subbed out of the game at the 4:42 mark with 0 points, two assists and three turnovers.
On the season, Ace Baldwin Jr. is averaging a team-high 14.8 points and is second in the Big Ten with 8.4 assists.
