Alabama Crimson Tide men's basketball has had its hands full during the beginning of this transfer portal season.

After a promising, however disastrous ending to the season with a crushing loss to Duke in the Elite Eight, Nate Oats and the Tide look forward to the 2025-26 season.

Losing a lot of key players to the transfer portal or NBA Draft, such as Mark Sears, Mouhamed Dioubate, Grant Nelson, Labaron Philon, and Chris Youngblood, there are a lot of spots in this team that they need to fill.

The latest name to enter the portal is redshirt freshman guard Naas Cunningham, who has announced that he will be committing to UNLV.

Due to his redshirt, Cunningham did not see any time during his freshman season, as he was given the redshirt year for developmental reasons.

The highly talented four-star transfer will take his talents to the UNLV Runnin' Rebels, as they look to make it to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since the 2012-13 season.

With the addition of Cunningham, the Rebels have just the No. 88 best recruiting class in the country, according to On3.

However, the addition of Cunningham gives them their second four-star player this window, with the addition of former Iowa Hawkeyes forward Ladji Dembele.

For Alabama, it was most likely going to be difficult to find a place for Cunningham to get the minutes he deserves. With the No. 8 recruiting class in the country, the Crimson Tide are poised for another deep run next season.
