Andy Enfield breaks down one issue that is hurting USC basketball

USC basketball has had a lot of issues this season as they have limped to their current 10-16 overall record and 4-11 Pac-12 record. The Trojans are in second-to-last place in the conference with just five games left in the season. The last game for the Trojans was a painful one as they lost in overtime against Colorado after blowing a big lead. That has happened twice against the Buffaloes this season.

Nothing has seemed to go right this year for USC basketball, and it was all on display in that loss to Colorado. Andy Enfield discussed one of those issues that was hurting his team, and it is one that we have seen a lot this season.

“Sometimes, they just started switching, so some of our actions — they would switch some of our screening action,” Andy Enfield said, according to an article from Sports Illustrated. “But we got downhill, we got to the rim, we missed six layups.”

Missing good looks has been a theme this year. USC has done things right to get themselves in the position to score, but execution hasn’t always been there this season. At this point, there isn’t very much time left to fix those kind of issues.

USC will return to the court on Saturday for a rivalry game against UCLA. The Bruins took the first game between the two teams.
