It's almost hard to believe that we're already nearing the end of the college hoops season, but the Madness is about to start and the field of 68 is taking shape.
Now with conference tournaments getting underway, longtime NCAA analyst Andy Katz has released his list of first-team All-Americans — headlined by Player of the Year candidate and potential No. 1 NBA Draft pick Cooper Flagg.
Here's a look at Katz's squad on X:

Fans had their own reactions to the veteran reporter's picks.
"I'm on board with this!" a user said.
"Andy you cooked this time," another replied.
"Let's go PJ," a fan cheered.
"It is known that Katz doesn't know ball," another person asserted. "JT Toppin should be first team."
"6 months ago a loooooot of people were talking about how Braden Smith wouldn't be anything without being able to throw the ball inside to Zach Edey," another fan pointed out." Now he is getting his number in the rafters at Mackey Arena. Paint was right about needing a ball knowledge quiz to Tweet."
Katz also released his second and third-teams in subsequent posts. Which look like this:
