Angel Reese has been active on social media, cheering on the Maryland Terrapins, who recently punched their ticket to the Sweet 16.
Maryland defeated Colorado State 72-71 after a game-winning bucket by freshman Derik Queen. The Terrapins have now defeated the Rams and Grand Canyon, inching their way deeper in the bracket.
Following the win over the Rams, Reese took to social media to react to the Terrapins' latest announcement about her brother, Julian Reese.
Julian Reese has reached the 1,000-rebound mark in a Maryland uniform, joining Len Elmore as the only Terrapins player in program history to achieve the feat.
"duhhhhh," Reese responded.
Julian Reese finished the win over the Rams with 15 points, 11 rebounds and one assist. In the team's first round victory over Grand Canyon, Julian Reese recorded 18 points, nine rebounds and one assist.
So far this season, Julian Reese has averaged 13.3 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game.
Julian Reese is currently playing in his fourth season with the Terrapins, having began his collegiate career in 2021.
Angel Reese also has history with the program. She played two seasons with the Terrapins, from 2020 to 2022, before transferring to LSU to finish her collegiate career.
