Class of 2026 four-star guard Kohl Rosario committed to play for the Kansas Jayhawks and reclassified to the Class of 2025, per 247Sports.
The 6-foot-4 sharp-shooter ranks as the No. 45 overall prospect in the class after playing his high school career with Moravian Prep in Hudson, North Carolina.
Head coach Bill Self adds to an impressive 2025 recruiting class, which includes the No. 1 overall prospect, Darryn Peterson. Rosario is the seventh player to commit to the Jayhawks.

Rosario played for one most distinguished AAU programs, Team CP3 where he recorded 14.2 points and 3.2 outings, per 247Sports’ Travis Branham.
The Miami, Florida native also played in the Overtime Elite League last season, where he helped lead the YNG Dreamerz to the 2025 championship. He showcased his strong three-point shooting, knocking down 41.4% of his threes during the postseason run.
He joined the Jayhawks over offers from Miami, Florida, Duke and several other Power Five programs. He is Self’s second four-star signee, alongside forward Samis Calderon.
Self has strung together the 24th-rated recruiting class in the country.
KU went 21-13 last season and lost in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The team has not made it past the second round since its championship run in 2022.
