The Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team dropped out of the top 25 on Monday, marking the end of an 80-week stretch

It was the first time since 2021 that Kansas had not been in the top 25, so times are a bit rough for Kansas fans.

Kansas lost back-to-back games against Utah and BYU on Feb. 15 and Feb. 18 before winning two straight against Oklahoma State and Colorado.

Kansas has a tough stretch with the final three games coming against No. 10 Texas Tech, No. 4 Houston and No. 22 Arizona to end the regular season.

As such, Kansas head coach Bill Self revealed his plan for star big man Hunter Dickinson, per Jeff Goodman.

"One thing Kansas coach Bill Self told me earlier in the week is that he intends to play through Hunter Dickinson more down the stretch," Goodman wrote on X

Dickinson, who spent three seasons at Michigan and is now in his second season at Kansas, is averaging 29.7 minutes per game, the fewest since his freshman year at Michigan.

Dickinson is also averaging 16.8 points -- his lowest PPG average since his freshman season -- and 9.8 rebounds.

In the Jayhawks' win over Colorado on Monday, Dickinson played 32 minutes with a game-high 32 points in the 71-64 win.

Joe Lunardi's latest bracketology has Kansas as a six-seed in the Midwest Region, which also includes Michigan State, Alabama, Arizona and Texas A&M.
