A college basketball team won by 100 points on Monday evening - seriously.

The Kansas City Roos took on the Calvary Warriors on Monday evening. The game was not close. In fact, Kansas City topped its Monday night opponent by 100 points.

Kansas City beat Calvary, 119-19. The Roos were up, 64-9, at halftime on Monday evening. Things didn't get any better for the Warriors in the second half, either. Kansas City held Calvary to only 10 points in the second half, going on to win by 100 points.

It was the biggest beatdown of the season.

"Kansas City edges out Calvary by 100. The Roos forced 34 turnovers in this game and held Calvary to 14% from the field," Mid-Major Madness wrote.

College basketball fans are pretty stunned by the result on Monday evening.

"Calvary is a tiny (~350 student) bible college across town in KC that basically nobody here has even heard of. A 100 point win is nice, but it would have been better if they had done it against a D1 opponent or at least a nearby D2 or NAIA school like Rockhurst or Avila," one fan wrote.

"What does either team gain from scheduling this game?" one fan added.

"The Calvary never arrived," one fan added.

Blowouts happen in college basketball - every sport, really - but 100 points is truly historic.

Perhaps Kansas City will think twice about scheduling Calvary in the future, following this one.
