Cooper Flagg saw his freshman season come to an end in the Final Four, likely ending his college career.
On Saturday, Flagg and the No. 1 seed Duke Blue Devils fell in dramatic fashion to No. 1 seed Houston Cougars 70-67 in the Final Four of the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
Now, Flagg is likely to enter the 2025 NBA Draft, where he is projected to go No. 1 overall.
Duke looked like it had the game won for the majority of the second half, going up by as much as 14 points. But thanks to a few errors and missed shots, the Blue Devils went scoreless in the final minute, allowing Houston to come back from six down.
One day before the Final Four game, Flagg spoke to the media about his future in the NBA. Although Flagg is a Boston Celtics fan, growing up in Maine, he doesn't necessarily have a preferred NBA team, saying getting drafted by any team would be a "blessing," per NJ.com's Adam Zagoria.
“It would be a blessing for me to get drafted [by any] team in the NBA,” Flagg said. “That’s a dream of mine, to play in the NBA. I would feel completely blessed and honored to play for any team. ”
The Jazz, Wizards and Hornets each have a 14% chance at No. 1.

With Flagg likely going No. 1 overall, three NBA teams have the highest chance (14%) to secure the top pick, including the Utah Jazz, Charlotte Hornets and Washington Wizards.
In his likely final game with Duke, Flagg finished with 27 points on 8-of-19 shooting, seven rebounds and four assists. He also missed a go-ahead field goal with eight seconds left and was called for a questionable late foul to give Houston two free throws and the lead.
Now, we await Flagg's NBA draft decision, but it seems we already know his answer.
