There may not be a bigger name in the basketball world than Duke's freshman sensation Cooper Flagg.

He has been the catalyst for this year's Duke team, which was hunting for its first title since 2014-15. In addition to being the ultimate team player, Flagg has also been racking up individual awards.

He was named the AP Player of the Year, won the Julius Erving Award and was also named ACC Player of the Year. However, while his performance on the court is impressive, what he is doing off of it may be even more impressive.

In the process of vying for a Final Four win on Saturday against Houston, Flagg's GPA surfaced on social media. He reportedly boasted a 4.0 GPA during the fall semester. An accomplishment that has fans even more enamored with him.

"That's why he so good. "If I calculate the Pythagorean theorem at the angle of X and turn 45 degrees I will hit the target at approx. 2seca after the rotation of the elbow at a 90 degree angle," wrote one fan.

"Damn now he more athletic AND smarter than me," joked another.

"That tells you everything you need to know! Not a Duke fan, but nothing but respect for Flagg," said one user.

"Now that's impressive," exclaimed another.

Unfortunately for Flagg he ended up missing a possible game-winning shot that would have sent Duke to the title game. The Cougars went on to win 70-67, and will take on Florida on Monday.

Although Flagg is expected to be NBA bound after this season, his performance in the classroom shows he strives for excellence in all aspects. This moment will presumably be one he learns from, and follows him the rest of his career.
