Cooper Flagg Sends Clear Message Before 2025 NBA Draft Combine

Now Flagg shifts his attention to the 2025 NBA Draft Lottery on Monday night where one team will win the sweepstakes to select him first overall in this summer’s draft.

While one team will have the future of their franchise changed during the draft lottery on Monday, the 2025 NBA Draft Combine also began on Monday and Flagg is one of the participants in it.

Ahead of the draft combine, Flagg sent a clear message about the next step of his career in the NBA.

“These are type of things you dream about as a kid,” Flagg said.

It is clear that Flagg is going to be able to live out his childhood dream of playing in the NBA where he will likely be the first player off the board in the 2025 draft on June 25.

Of course, Flagg is one of the most hyped prospects in recent draft history after his incredible freshman campaign at Duke.

Last season, the 18-year-old forward averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per game while shooting 48.1% from the field and 38.5% from three-point range.

Flagg was able to show his ability on both ends of the court during his freshman season at Duke that NBA scouts believe will transfer perfectly into the NBA, which is why he is the projected top pick.
