After falling to Houston in the 2025 Final Four, Jon Scheyer and the Duke Blue Devils have seen some major roster turnover.
Duke saw all of its starting five depart for the 2025 NBA Draft, including likely No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel and Khaman Maluach. But the Blue Devils have made up for their losses with the top-ranked recruiting class in 2025 (247 Sports).
Scheyer has earned commitments from four different five-star recruits, including Italian forward Dame Sarr and California native Nikolas Khamenia. But the Blue Devils' biggest prize of the recruiting class was arguably the Boozer twins, Cameron and Cayden.
Cameron and Cayden Boozer, the sons of former Duke star Carlos Boozer, were both named McDonald's All-Americans in 2025. However, Cameron has emerged as the more highly regarded player.
Ranking as the No. 3 prospect in his class (247 Sports), Cameron Boozer averaged 22.1 points, 11.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game during his final season at Columbus High School, per MaxPreps. For his play, he was named the Gatorade National Player of the Year and Mr. Basketball USA, each for the second time.
However, despite Cameron Boozer standing out more than Cayden, SLAM Magazine ultimately revealed the twins will both don the cover of Thursday's SLAM University.
"FAMILY TIES ," SLAM University wrote on X. "New SLAMU digital cover drops on Thursday, June 12 at 11 AM EST."
Duke reacted to the news by sharing SLAM's post on X.

The Boozer twins aren't the first college basketball players to be featured on Slam University's cover. Auburn stars Tahaad Pettiford and Johni Broome donned the cover in March, while Florida guard Walter Clayton Jr. was featured after winning the national championship.
Even Flagg was featured on the official SLAM Magazine cover prior to joining the Blue Devils in 2024.
Despite losing several key contributors from the 2024–25 squad, Scheyer and the Blue Devils are expected to be right back in the national title conversation with their revamped roster.
