Cooper Flagg and the No. 3 Duke Blue Devils have been on a tear over the past few months, winning 18 of their previous 19 games and improving to 22-3 on the 2024-25 college basketball season.

On Monday night, Duke was back in action, facing the Virginia Cavaliers at John Paul Jones Arena.

Ahead of the game, the ACC revealed that Flagg has been named Rookie of the Week for contests played February 9-16, which includes Duke's wins over the California Golden Bears and the Stanford Cardinal. This marks Flagg's 10th Rookie of the Week honors this season.

In doing so, Flagg has now joined three former stars as the only ACC players to reach double-digit Rookie of the Week honors.

DukeMBBStats revealed the news with a post on X.

"Cooper Flagg has now been named ACC Rookie of the Week 10 times this season, tying the conference record. He joins Kenny Anderson (Georgia Tech - 1990), Tyler Hansbrough (UNC - 2006) and Jabari Parker (Duke- 2014) as ACC freshmen to accomplish the feat."

Flagg now joins some elite company in the ACC history books. Anderson, Hansbrough and Parker were some of the best to ever play for their respective programs, each making a first-team All-American and then some.

Flagg, the power forward from Maine, has proven why he was one of the top prospects in the class of 2024. This season, he is averaging 19.8 points (3rd in ACC) on 48.5% shooting, 7.5 rebounds (9th) and 4.0 assists (8th) per game.

Following the Virginia game on Monday night, Flagg and the Blue Devils will be back in action on Saturday, facing the Illinois Fighting Illini at the neutral site of Madison Square Garden in New York City.
