The Michigan Wolverines were scheduled to take on the Auburn Tigers in a Sweet 16 matchup on Friday at 9:39 p.m. ET.

Prior to the game, former Wolverines star Hunter Dickinson, who transferred to Kansas after several tournament wins in Ann Arbor, shared his thoughts on what coach Dusty May's team must do to beat the Auburn Tigers, the top seed in the south region.

Dickinson shined the spotlight on a former Tigers transfer who has been playing his best basketball in Ann Arbor with the Wolverines during tournament season heading into the marquee matchup on Friday night.

"I think for Michigan to keep up with Auburn it's going to come down to Tre Donaldson, Roddy Gayle," Dickinson said. "Can they make shots...I think that'll be the matchup that'll make things interesting and see if they can keep up with those guys."

Dickinson revealed that he brought a special item to the CBS Sports studio during his tournament time as an analyst.

He told his CBS Sports co-hosts that he was wearing the exact sports tie former Wolverines coach Juwan Howard wore the day he was introduced as Wolverines head basketball coach, hinting that he is likely rooting for coach Dusty May's Wolverines this evening.
